ALBANY COLLEGE

Founded in 1881, Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences has all of the ingredients for a quality education  - outstanding programs, modern facilities, distinguished faculty, and a wide range of activities designed to make the student experience the best it can possibly be.

Each of the programs offered at the college offers different, but interconnected, paths for an education in health. These include: a six-year Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) program and four-year bachelor's degrees in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Health and Human Sciences and Biomedical Technology. Students may also pursue joint degrees in the fields of medicine, law, and business through cooperative agreements with area institutions, or by enrolling in one of the College’s six Master’s degree programs.

The Albany campus recently finished a series of improvement projects that have resulted in a completely redesigned dining hall, an expanded library, upgraded residence halls, and new research laboratories. These enhancements, which were largely driven by student feedback, will no doubt succeed in making the ACPHS experience even more enjoyable and rewarding.

ACPHS also has a satellite campus in scenic Colchester, Vermont, just outside of Burlington. The college offers a “Vermont Track” for students interested in transferring from Albany to the Colchester campus for the final four years of the PharmD program.
