CANISIUS COLLEGE

Canisius College is one of 28 Jesuit colleges in the nation and is consistently ranked among the top regional universities in the Northeast.  Canisius offers students a highly personalized education solidly based in the liberal arts and the development of the whole person. 

Canisius has 5000 undergraduate and graduate students and has an average class size of 16 and a student faculty ratio of 11:1.  There are more than 1,000 courses and 70 distinct majors, minors and special programs offered at the college.   Some of the popular undergraduate programs are: Accounting, Animal Behavior, Athletic Training, Biology, Communications, Education, Digital Media Arts, Management and Marketing, and Psychology.

Canisius offers academic scholarships and financial aid (including OSAP) and is located in Buffalo, New York, which is less than a two-hour drive from downtown Toronto.    Canisius faculty members are leaders in their fields and students have the opportunity to work closely with their professors, often publishing or presenting scholarly articles based on joint research.  Canisius students also enhance their academic experience through the All-College Honors Program, study abroad opportunities and internships.
