DIABLO VALLEY COLLEGE

Diablo Valley College is part of the California Community College system. DVC is most known for its transfer programs as it is the number one feeder institution to UC Berkeley for both domestic and international students. We offer all of the general education and major pre-requisites for all of the majors at UC Berkeley and for most of the majors at all University of California campuses.

Approximately 400 international students transfer each year to schools in and out of California. Guaranteed Transfer Agreements for UC San Diego, UC Davis and UC Santa Barbara are popular with international students. Out-of-state transfer schools include Georgetown, John Hopkins, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, the University of Texas, Austin, among others. International students can also complete a certificate or two year Associate’s degree after which they may work in the US full-time for one year.
