LE CORDON BLEU

Le Cordon Bleu Ottawa Culinary Arts Institute is the exclusive Canadian campus of Le Cordon Bleu. Founded in 1988, Le Cordon Bleu Ottawa Culinary Arts Institute programs are designed to provide students with an opportunity to develop and master the classic French techniques of cuisine and pâtisserie through small class size (15 students maximum per class) and a hands-on practical approach in professional kitchens under the mentorship of world class chefs. Le Cordon Bleu Ottawa Culinary Arts Institute is the only campus in the world that offers the Grand Diplôme Professionnel - an intensive 10 month program.

The Grand Diplôme Professionnel is designed for students to obtain all the renowned Cordon Bleu culinary arts skills and techniques earned through the Grand Diplôme while incorporating additional theory, important certifications, knowledge of best practices and real work experience, including an 11-week internship in a professional kitchen and restaurant.

The institute is equipped with specially designed amphitheatres featuring close-circuit cameras, mirrors and audio systems for demonstration classes and state-of-the-art kitchens for practical hands-on training. Today Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts programs are internationally recognized and taught in over 35 schools in 15 countries around the world, training more than 20,000 students of over 70 nationalities every year.
