NEW YORK FILM ACADEMY

The New York Film Academy is honored to be the film and acting school of choice of many Hollywood filmmakers’ families, including Steven Spielberg, Kevin Kline, Al Pacino, Robert Downey Jr., Jamie Foxx, Jodie Foster, Pierce Brosnan, Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins, and Bono, among others.

NYFA is the largest filmmaking and acting school in the United States. Each year hundreds of students of all backgrounds and nationalities experience the extraordinary, hands-on education offered at the New York Film Academy.

We offer hands-on, intensive, Two-Year Accelerated Master of Fine Arts Programs in Filmmaking, Acting for Film, Screenwriting, Documentary Filmmaking, Producing and Photography. Three-year accelerated Bachelor of Arts degrees are offered in Filmmaking or Acting for Film, and one- and two-year Conservatory programs are offered in Filmmaking, Acting for Film, Screenwriting, Animation, Musical Theatre, Broadcast Journalism, Documentary Filmmaking, and Producing.

Monthly short-term, intensive workshops are offered in New York City, Los Angeles, and Abu Dhabi. Summer workshops are offered at Harvard University, Yale University, and Disney Studios; in Europe, at La Fémis in Paris, France; at Cinecittà in Rome, and Florence, Italy; and in London, England.
