NORTHERN MICHIGAN UNIVERSITY
Northern Michigan University is a state-funded public university located on the southern shore of Lake Superior.
We offer over 180 degree programs and have approximately 300 student organizations from which to choose. Included in your tuition and fees NMU issues each student with a laptop with the most up-to-date software. Our small classes allow students to get to know their professors and to meet with them on a one-on-one basis.
Students who achieve a GPA of 3.0 or higher within their first four semesters will be eligible for the International Academic Award which gives them $1100 off their tuition fees for the following semester. We also offer athletic scholarships and foundation scholarships. For athletics we are a Division 1 for hockey and for all other sports we are Division 2.
Northern Michigan University prides itself on being a high tech, personal touch university.
