Founded in 1846, University at Buffalo (UB), The State University of New York, is located in western New York with an enrollment of 28,000, including more than 4,500 international students from more than 100 countries.  On the spacious grounds of UB’s ultra-modern campus there are laboratories, art galleries, apartments, restaurants and shops.

UB offers 93 Bachelor degree programs and more than 60 undergraduate minors, 112 Master and 98 Doctoral programs.  In addition to its College of Arts and Sciences, with twenty-eight departments, UB has schools of Architecture, Dental Medicine, Education, Engineering, Public Health & Health Professions, Law, Management, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Social Work.
