THE UNIVERSITY OF PLYMOUTH

The University of Plymouth is a modern, dynamic university but with an educational history dating from 1825.  With over 30,000 students, the University of Plymouth is one of the UK’s largest and most prominent institutions and is consistently rated amongst the top modern (post-1992) universities in the UK, with high graduate employment ratings.

Plymouth is located on the coast in the beautiful South West of England – an ideal location for both learning and leisure, with plenty of quiet study spaces and recreational opportunities.  Plymouth enjoys a combination of rural charm and modern city living, and is about three hours by train and an hour by plane from London, with air links to other cities and ferries to France and Spain.  The university is set in the heart of the city with shops, facilities and attractions on its doorstep, keeping daily living costs minimal.
