WEST COAST COLLEGE OF MASSAGE THERAPY
Established in 1983, the West Coast College of Massage Therapy is the first and founding college of massage therapy education in British Columbia. It is recognized nationally and internationally and is fully accredited with PCTIA and the CMTBC.
At WCCMT, you can choose from two programs; you can decide whether you want to pursue studies that will take you into the medical profession as a Registered Massage Therapist or follow a career in holistic massage as a Spa Practitioner.
Upon successful completion of the 3000hr Registered Massage Therapy program, you will receive a diploma that is recognized worldwide. Following graduation, you are required to write the provincial board exams before you are actually licenced as a Registered Massage Therapist and WCCMT makes every effort to support its students’ success and assist with job placements.
Another option is our 700hr Spa Practitioner program. This eight-month course is offered in the evenings and on weekends so you can still hold down a daytime job while you study at night.
Upon successful completion of this program, you will receive a diploma that will qualify you to work in a Day Spa, Spa resort, Cruise Ship or Spa destination anywhere in the world!
