Vancouver Convention Centre at Canada Place

Built on the original Pier B-C on Vancouver's Waterfront, the Vancouver Convention Centre first served as the Canada Pavilion for the World's Fair Expo in 1986. Since then, it has grown to become recognized as one of the leading convention centres in the world. It is a well-known icon and is easily reached via Seabus from the North Shore, skytrain, bus and by car.
Entrance
The East Ballroom is a large venue located on the Convention Level. Simply enter from the main entrance to the Convention Centre at Canada Place and continue to the left side of the building.
Getting There
Vancouver is serviced by the Vancouver International Airport (YVR) and is 20-30 minutes from Downtown. Taxis and limousines cost approximately CAD$40. The Canada Line train goes from the airport terminal to downtown in 27 minutes for $8. To the Carmana Plaza hotel, get off at the Burrard Station stop and proceed up Thurlow (back exit from station) to Alberni. The hotel is a half block west of Thurlow.

Located right downtown in Calgary’s business and entertainment area, the convention centre is a popular facility with easy access by public transport. It is close to major and local hotel chains, including the directly adjacent Marriott Hotel. McLeod Hall is in the south building and is spacious and easy to find; and the facilities and staff exhibit the famous Calgary hospitality.
Getting There
From the Calgary International Airport, it is about a 15-minute ride costing approximately $25. The centre itself is a minute walk from bus and other public transport services. Pay parking is available at the centre.
Ottawa, September 26, 2012

Centurion Conference and Event Center

This popular venue is equidistant from both Carleton University and University of Ottawa and is in a business park surrounded by high income residences.
It is easily accessible by taxi from downtown Ottawa as well as the hotels. Bus access is directly to the centre, and the O-Train stop is just a few minutes’ walk.
Getting There
The center is close to Ottawa airport – just 10 minutes by taxi. From the downtown core it is approximately 10-minutes and approximately $10. Parking is free at the center if coming by car.
Toronto, September 28-29, 2012

Located right downtown, the Convention Centre is easily accessible to visitors via public transport and by car. The North Building is between the InterContinental Toronto Centre and the CN Tower/Rogers Centre and has three entrances: the main doors on Front Street, via the Skywalk (the glass-enclosed walkway connection to mass transit), and the Centre's own weather-protected internal street.
Getting There
Transportation from Lester B Pearson airport and downtown is easy and hassle-free.

- Taxi from airport to downtown: $50 approximately

The World Trade and Convention Centre is located in the heart of beautiful downtown Halifax, close to shops, restaurants and other amenities. It is also connected to the Downtown Halifax Link (see below)
Getting There
On foot
Many of the hotels and most important businesses are connected by a climate-controlled pedway system called the Downtown Halifax Link (see below). You often never need to step outdoors!
By Cab
The Convention Centre is a short cab ride from most of the downtown hotels, and a 30 minute drive from the international airport.
